Business Development Manager - East USA

An innovative medical device start-up in the Robotics/AI space is seeking a Business Development Manager to cover the Eastern part of the States and strategically grow the business.

The ideal candidate will come from a strong sales background with a passion for working with niche disruptive technology within the medical device space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of market opportunities and prospecting with potential new business customers
  • Achieving sales quotas across the region
  • Creating new leads and business opportunities
  • Development and presentation of sales strategies
  • Determine customer needs and work closely with technical development teams to ensure needs are met
  • Networking and liaising with KOLs within the surgical space
  • Performing training and follow-up support activities
  • Attend exhibitions and conferences
  • Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 7+ years within the surgical space
  • Pre-existing network across the hospital system in the states
  • Strong track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience in working in a start-up or SME is essential
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to put analyse opportunities and formulate business development strategies
  • Able to travel extensively within the territory (must be based on territory)
