Directs and coordinates a program involving the collection, custody, accounting and management of money due to or receivable by the County and the County funds on deposit with the Treasury; arranges for finances required by the County through the sale of bonds, loans, etc.; serves as chief advisor to the Mayor and Finance Director on treasury related matters; and performs other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualification Requirements

Your possession of the required amount of experience will not in itself be accepted as proof of qualification for the position. Overall paid or unpaid experience must be of such scope and responsibility as to conclusively demonstrate that you have the ability to perform the duties of the position.
Note: Calculation of experience is based on full-time, 40-hour work weeks. Part-time experience must be pro-rated. Example: Twelve months of experience at 20 hours per week is equivalent to six months of experience. In addition, hours worked in excess of 40 hours per week will not be credited. Example: Twelve months of experience at 60 hours per week is equivalent to one year, not one and one-half years.
Training and Experience: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a baccalaureate degree in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration or a related field and five (5) years of responsible business of public administration work experience, which shall have included:
- cash management, investing, cash flow analysis or financial planning; or
- auditing and/or evaluating cash management, investing, cash flow analysis or financial planning of a large business, financial institution or government agency.
principles and practices of supervision; principles and practices of commercial and government accounting; State and Municipal finance laws and regulations governing the handling of monies and securities; budgeting and fiscal principles and practices; County bonding procedures and requirements; money and banking operation; principles and practices of administration; public relations.Ability to:
plan, direct and coordinate activities of subordinates; make decisions and take administrative actions; determine and initiate policies, procedures and methods; prepare prospectus for the sale of bonds; prepare, analyze and maintain financial reports and records; draft and interpret laws, ordinances and regulations; establish and maintain good employee and public relations.Health and Physical Condition Requirements:
