Sales Coordinator - Field Sales

This Sales Coordinator acts as an assistant to the Fields Sales Team members on a wide range of sales related projects and tasks. This person should be adaptable to the changing needs of the business, and be able to shift focus accordingly. This person will need to be highly organized, goal oriented, proactive in their approach, with a positive, team-player attitude.


In this role you will be responsible for:

Key Duties:

Cosmetics and Hair Color new item and display set up/customer portals.

Assist the sales team to research and resolve deductions.

Assist the sales team to source marketing assets and support evolving ecommerce activities.

Assist the team sales analysts with reporting.

Assist team lead with various special projects as needed.

Maintain customer calendar/contact list

Assist with sample orders and other miscellaneous ad hoc requests.

Place fixture/replacement part orders.

Deduction Management:

This role will work directly with Field Sales Team to validate claims/co-ops and clear against deductions.

Day-to-day management/clearing.

Obtain backup from customers.

Pull aging/deduction report from Infotracs.

Validate claims with the business owners and obtain contract # to clear Post Audit Claim/Co-Op.

In Infotracs, clear the Post Audit Claim/Co-Op against Deductions. Attach all excel/pdf files for the deduction.

Work with the Business Development Manager to send for approval to the Finance team to clear deductions.

Document and file post audits/co-ops on excel tracker sheet as well as documentation saved in \"Cleared Contracts and Invoices\" folder and use appropriate sub folder (Audit Claims, Co-ops and Disputes).

Manage disputed claims - submit paperwork and track progress.

Provide actionable data to sales team in order to identify and realize all potential business opportunities. ?

On a weekly basis, update Field Sales Team on deductions aging and cleared claims/Co-Ops.

E-Commerce and Item set up/maintenance:

Responsible for new item set up, maintenance and content management.

Validate new item launches, revisions and sales plan cycles.

Manage Coty Library of creative assets.

Monitor and manage review seeding for key item launches.

Assist the Field Sales Team Lead with ad hoc requests and help support the Field Sales Team

Manage Customer Calendar:

Email BAM and Team Lead weekly any changes to be made to the Customer Calendar in the New York shared drive.

Update the Coty Customer Calendar for the Field Sales Team


We'd love to see candidates who have:

Education: 4 year College Degree preferred.

Experience: Entry level-3 years of field sales or buyer experience; retail sales, account management, broker management or distributor management experience preferred.

Skills and Competencies/Shared Values:

Strong MS Office Skills - proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Ability to learn and become proficient with all applications as related to the role including: Nielsen, Infotracs, Web collage and any new applications required for the job.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to multi-task and juggle many projects simultaneously.

Ability to interface and collaborate with all levels of management.
