Provides Oracle functionaltrack leadership managing resources and ensuring completion of deliverables andtasks for all aspects of the global Oracle ERP program (OneVision) within thefinancials area of accountability (AR, AP, CE, EB Tax, General Ledger andSub-Ledger Accounting, Fixed Assets, Projects, Cost Management, Intercompany, monthend close processes including reporting, etc.). The IT Sr Manager Oracle Financialsprovides architectural guidance to the Business System Analyst team thatreports to them (direct employees as well as service integrator and third-partycontractors) and partners 2-in-a-box with the business transformation team todefine the best solution to CooperVisions requirements. They partner with theprogram and project management team to assign resources from their specificfunctional track to complete deliverables and work activities and participatesdirectly, as needed, to ensure the best outcomes for the program and thecompany.

  • Reviewsand analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems/technologiesand develops strategies for improving or leveraging these systems by leveragingOracle ERP capabilities as well as integrated systems
  • Playan active leadership role in the design process in refining our businessprocess to take advantage of Oracles and integrated systems capabilities
  • Design,recommend, and evaluate proposed architecture and integration solutions in andout of the ERP within functional areas of accountability
  • Workclosely with other track leads (cross-track) to formulate the best overallsolutions
  • Conductsdeep dive reviews within and across teams to ensure cohesion within the overallsolution
  • Ableto drive team to a highly efficient and cohesive working unit
  • Responsiblefor planning and executing a significant portion of the global ERPimplementation, in partnership with our chosen ERP solution integrator andbusiness process leaders
  • Hasor is able to develop mastery of Oracle ERP capabilities and the capabilitiesof the set of systems in CooperVisions specific production ecosystem (withinfunctional area of accountability)
  • Ensuremultiple phases of the program are scoped, defined, resourced, and delivered tosupport objectives of the overall ERP program
  • Constantlymonitors the progress of the team and makes timely corrective actions to ensurerisks and issues are being avoided
  • Preparesand communicates status to stakeholders and project/program leaders in aregular and meaningful cadence
  • Partnerswith IT Leadership team to develop a plan for internal IT and business teams tobecome self-sufficient in ERP skills and knowledge
  • Experiencemanaging applications and projects using a structured systems methodology and ITgeneral controls framework
  • Experiencemanaging a diverse team of individuals located across geographies; experienceworking in a cross-disciplinary environment with strong opinions andpersonalities
  • Possessa thorough understanding of and expertise in the management and delivery of:
  • Global Oracle ERP implementations
  • In depth Oracle R12 knowledge in corefunctions related to area of accountability
  • Key concepts in medical devicemanufacturing
  • Transformation programs with largescale change
  • Otherdesirable skills Include:

  • 25%-50%travel required (varies with implementations)
  • Bachelorsor Masters Degree in Computer Sciences, Management Information Systems, orBusiness Administration
  • 10-15years implementation experience for commercial, distribution and/ormanufacturing applications in Life Sciences or other manufacturing industries(Life Sciences preferred)
  • 5-7 yearsexperience in a leadership role with responsibility for global enterprisesystems teams and external partners
  • Extensiveglobal Oracle ERP implementation experience financials modules focus within manufacturingand/or distribution environment
  • Previousexperience in a business functional role (e.g., Financial Controller,Accountant) will be considered a significant differentiator
