  • These terms, conditions, and notices (the Terms ) govern Job Seeker, visitor, and certain Customer(s), access to and use of Governmentjobs.com, Inc. Our Water Sports camp is like no other around the area, we have the special opportunity and resources to teach kids the fundamentals of water sports, while of course enjoying the warms days of summer!

    A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with kids is a must for this day camp position. Camp Counselors will perform various tasks to make sure the daily operations of camp run smoothly and that all children are safe and having fun!Supervise and lead camp activities Camp counselor will be responsible for the supervision and implementation of water sports camp activities for children 7-14 years old at the Boulder Reservoir. Staff will be required to be in the water most of the day teaching the fundamentals of craft usage for canoes, SUP boards, kayaks, sail boats, and more. There will be days and times where staff will lead off water activities such as group games, crafts and outdoor education.Ensure the Safety of CampersSafety is our counselor's main focus at camp. Ensuring all campers are accounted for at all times, setting clear rules and expectations, and follow through are the top priority of our staff members each day of camp. Our water sports camp staff will have added trainings on safety precautions, water patrol, codes, boat supervision and more to ensure all the campers are safe in open water at all times.Communication with Parents and PeersCamp Counselors will work closely with other staff members of the camp program to ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed and adhered to. Camp Counselors are required to report any inappropriate behavior that is observed by fellow camp personnel or campers in the program to their direct supervisor. Camp Counselors will be encouraged to build relationships with the parents/guardians of the campers in our camp programs as well as any communication about any negative or positive behaviors that are observed.

A Customer is defined an organization, government, state or provincial government, city, county, government agency, municipality, federal government, K-12, special district, law enforcement, college, university, academy, or institute of technology, of which is located in the United States and utilizes Company Services to post job opportunities, search for, recruit, evaluate and select Job Seekers. A Job Seeker is a natural person who accesses, uses, or creates an account on a Company controlled Service to search for and apply to jobs advertised by Customers.
  • If you will be using the Services on behalf of a Customer, you agree to these Terms on behalf of that organization and you represent that you have the authority to do so. In such case, you and your will refer to that organization. Where these Terms conflict with either pre-existing additional terms of which were mutually and explicitly agreed to between Company and you (collectively referred to as the Parties ), or where the Parties explicitly agreed otherwise, those additional terms shall control to the extent of the conflict.
  • If you do not agree to all of terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement, you may not use the Services. You indicate your agreement to this Agreement by clicking or tapping on a button indicating your acceptance of these Terms, by executing a document that references them, or by using the Services; therefore, this Agreement is a legally binding contract between you and Company (also referred to as we , or us ). Also, by agreeing to this Agreement you waive, to the extent permitted under applicable law, any rights or legal requirements that require an original (non-electronic) signature or the delivery or retention of non-electronic records in order for a contract to be legally binding.
  • Company reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time, at its sole discretion, by posting an updated version to this web page. If you are a Customer with a subscription, changes to this Agreement shall be effective upon renewal of your subscription. If you are a Job Seeker, changes to this Agreement are effective immediately. You will be notified if there is a material change (as determined in the sole discretion of Company) to this Agreement.

  • SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: State Licensing requires all camp staff to acquire 15 hours of camp training, before camp starts. The City of Boulder will provide 15 hours of camp training for each staff to attend. Trainings will include obtaining certifications for the following: Epi Pen and Inhaler, CPR/First Aide/AED and Standard Precautions. If selected for employment with the City of Boulder Camp department, the Camp Program Leader will be asked to provide a letter/s verifying 480 hours worked with children.WORKING CONDITIONS Required Physical and Mental Effort and Environmental Conditions: Must have sufficient strength, agility, stamina, and flexibility to lift, carry or move a variety of objects up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work while crouching, kneeling, bending, stooping, or assisting children for long periods of time. Must have sufficient hearing to be able to hear and discriminate differing sounds in a variety of situations. Sufficient vision to be able to discriminate between colors, size, and type of objects and people, both close and distant.
