  • These terms, conditions, and notices (the Terms ) govern Job Seeker, visitor, and certain Customer(s), access to and use of Governmentjobs.com, Inc. A Job Seeker is a natural person who accesses, uses, or creates an account on a Company controlled Service to search for and apply to jobs advertised by Customers.
  • 1. Performs repairs, construction, and modifications to transportation irrigation systems and minor plumbing installation and repairs as needed and under minimal supervision from the supervisor:Trouble shoots, diagnoses, and repairs irrigation system problems including but not limited to main lines, point of connection assemblies, electric valves, backflow devices, manual valves, master valves, wiring and electrical connections, controllers, sprinkler heads, and improper hydraulic conditions.Works with the irrigation programmer to develop a water schedule per site based on that site's monthly water budget.Installs commercial scale sprinkler systems including but not limited to point of connection, backflow prevention, pressure regulation, master valves, controllers, field wiring, various types of pipe and fittings, sprinkler heads, electric valves, etc.Uses electrical testing equipment such as volt-ohm meter, fault locator, line locator, and toning device for troubleshooting maintenance and repairs.Reads and uses irrigation and landscape construction plans and as-built plans in order to perform construction and repairs.   • If you will be using the Services on behalf of a Customer, you agree to these Terms on behalf of that organization and you represent that you have the authority to do so. In such case, you and your will refer to that organization. Where these Terms conflict with either pre-existing additional terms of which were mutually and explicitly agreed to between Company and you (collectively referred to as the Parties ), or where the Parties explicitly agreed otherwise, those additional terms shall control to the extent of the conflict.
  • Uses electrical testing equipment such as volt-ohm meter, fault locator, line locator, and toning device for troubleshooting maintenance and repairs.
  • Reads and uses irrigation and landscape construction plans and as-built plans in order to perform construction and repairs. Provides materials take-off and estimates as needed.

You indicate your agreement to this Agreement by clicking or tapping on a button indicating your acceptance of these Terms, by executing a document that references them, or by using the Services; therefore, this Agreement is a legally binding contract between you and Company (also referred to as we , or us ). Also, by agreeing to this Agreement you waive, to the extent permitted under applicable law, any rights or legal requirements that require an original (non-electronic) signature or the delivery or retention of non-electronic records in order for a contract to be legally binding.

  • Company reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time, at its sole discretion, by posting an updated version to this web page. If you are a Customer with a subscription, changes to this Agreement shall be effective upon renewal of your subscription. If you are a Job Seeker, changes to this Agreement are effective immediately. You will be notified if there is a material change (as determined in the sole discretion of Company) to this Agreement.

  • Bikeway Maintenance: Sweeping cement and asphalt surfaces; ensuring paths are free of obstructions; trash and snow removal; turf area maintenance and weed trimming; repair surface damage and remove graffiti; paint underpasses. Removal of deceased animals in right of way.

    Transportation and Median Maintenance: Landscaping of trees, annuals and perennials and mowing, trash and snow removal, aerating, fertilizing, and sweeping; planting flower beds, weeding, pruning, chip mulching, edging, implementation and documentation of the workgroup's Integrated Pest Management Plan (IPM), irrigation system maintenance management, remove graffiti and paint underpasses.     Greenway Corridor Maintenance: Landscaping and maintenance as defined for transportation corridor and median maintenance in accordance with the greenways and flood conservation plan including the comprehensive management of native vegetation and mapping/documentation of weed control; sediment, debris and tree removal from floodways to maintain conveyance capacity; monitoring, maintaining and reporting on wetland mitigation sites and greenways/flood conservation easements; supporting the development, implementation and documentation of the workgroup's IPM.   • Street Sweeper Operation: Operation and maintenance of mechanical street sweeper units for city streets. Changes sweeper brooms and hauls sweeper debris to designated location. Sweeps on-street bike lanes and streets on a regular basis, sometimes early mornings to minimize traffic impacts.

  • Except as otherwise expressly set forth herein, Company is the owner of all intellectual property rights (including copyrights) in the Services, including but not limited to designs, text, graphics, images, video, information, logos, button icons, software, and audio files (collectively, Company Content ). Material published by Company may contain other proprietary notices or describe products, services, processes, or technologies owned by Company or third parties. Nothing in these Terms shall be construed as granting to you a license to Company Content under any copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property right except as expressly set forth herein.
  • 3. Uses tools and equipment in the performance of maintenance tasks and may perform minor and preventative maintenance on equipment and vehicles. (For more information; see the Required Minimum Qualifications and Working Conditions sections below).

    4. Willingness/ability to respond to 25% after hours work during irregular hours, weekends, evenings, holidays, and emergencies. Must respond to snow shifts when called from mid-September through mid-April. May be required to perform rotating standby duties.

    9. Reads quarter section book and as built plans. Works with Project Managers on project specifications.

  • These Terms will remain in full force and effect during your subscription, while you access or make use of the Services, or while you have an active account if you are a Job Seeker.
  • 10. Maintains accurate records of work performed and materials and equipment used. May use a computer to log information.

  • You may terminate your Services at any time by deleting your account. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of any aspect of Services in your possession.
  • 11. May provide oversight to contractors and may direct seasonal or temporary employees including task and work assignment and providing basic field training and input. Acts as lead worker, including task assignment and work instruction, for small work teams (2 people).

  • Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to pursue all of its legal remedies, including but not limited to removal of some or all of your content from the Services, issuance of a warning, or immediate termination of your ability to access the Services. Company may also terminate your account and access upon any breach by you of these Terms or in order to protect its name and goodwill, its business, and/or other users. Such termination may be effective without notice. If at any time during your use of the Services, you made a misrepresentation of fact to Company or otherwise mislead Company in regard to the nature of your business activities, Company will have grounds to terminate your use of the Services.
  • 12. Troubleshoots issues of low to medium complexity, judging and responding appropriately to the potential for public health and safety concerns.

    13. Remains generally alert to conditions and events occurring on public right of ways indicating anticipated or needed repairs, and report such conditions to supervisors.

    14. May interact with members of the public in the field to provide information and customer service. Provides input into responses to inquiries from the public and/or internal departments/requestors.

  • Upon expiration or any termination of this Agreement, you shall cease all use and refrain from all further use of the Services and other Company Intellectual Property.
  • 15. Participates as a member of a team.

    Demonstrates a strong work ethic.

    Treats co-workers and supervisors with respect and courtesy.

  • In addition to the Miscellaneous section below, the provisions concerning Company s proprietary rights, feedback, indemnity, disclaimers, limitation of liability, Company monitoring and pre-screening, information collection, your responsibilities, governing law, and any other section herein that by its nature is intended to survive termination, will survive the termination of this Agreement for any reason.
  • Contributes and gives input to the team.

    Recognizes the needs of team members, and maintains a fair share of team's workload.

    Works effectively on a team and promotes team work when directing seasonal or temporary workers

    16. May assist in maintaining the Utilities infrastructure system.

  • The Services are for your personal and noncommercial use. Except as otherwise expressly provided, you may not modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, use, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information or content contained in the Services as a whole software, or products or services obtained from or available as part of or in conjunction with the Services. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-assignable, and non-transferable license to use the Services only under the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
  • 17. Other:

    Performs related duties as required to meet the needs of the city.

    Takes good care of the City's equipment, clothing, and resources.

    Takes proper safety precautions to prevent accidents. Responsible for the safety of self, others, materials, and equipment. Uses all required safety equipment and follows all safety regulations, policies and procedures. Reports all accidents and damage to city property.

    Responsible for knowing and complying with all city and department policies; participating in professional trainings and development; and adhering to attendance and workplace attire policies.

  • This license is not a sale of any of Company s rights. The Services may be used only by you, and you may not rent, lease, lend, sub-license, or transfer the Services or any of your rights under this Agreement to anyone else. You may not develop or derive for commercial sale any data in machine-readable or other form that incorporates or uses any substantial part of the Services.
  • Demonstrates behavior in accordance with the City Values.

    Generally, duties and responsibilities are listed from most to least critical or time consuming.

  • You must be 13 years of age or older to visit or use the Services in any manner. If under the age of 18 or the age of majority as that is defined in your jurisdiction, you must use any Services under the supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or other responsible adult.

  • You will take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access to the Services. For access to certain areas of the Services, including the account, it may require both a user name and a password. Only one user can use one user name and password and, thus, one account. By limiting access, it helps avoid unauthorized usage by other persons or entities because anyone with knowledge of both your user name and password can gain entry to the Services and your account. Accordingly, by using the Services, you agree to consider your user name and password as confidential information and to keep your user name and password confidential. You also agree not to use another user s user name and password. You will immediately notify Company if you become aware of any loss or theft of your password or any unauthorized use of your user name and password. Company cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these obligations. Company reserves the right to delete or change (with notice) a user name or password at any time and for any reason.

  • You are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of Company, including, without limitation, (i) accessing data not intended for such user or logging into a server or account which such user is not authorized to access, (ii) attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of a system or network or to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorization, (iii) attempting to interfere with service to any user, host, or network, including, without limitation, via means of overloading, flooding, mailbombing, or crashing, (iv) sending unsolicited e-mail, including promotions or advertising of products or services, or (v) forging any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any e-mail or newsgroup posting.
  • If you discover or are notified of a breach or potential breach of security with respect to any personally information, you shall immediately (i) notify Company of such breach or such potential breach and (ii) if the applicable data was in your possession or control, including, without limitation, in instances where such possession or control was permitted by this Agreement at the time of such breach or potential breach, you shall immediately (a) investigate such breach or such potential breach, (b) inform Company of the results of such investigation, (c) assist Company using commercially reasonable efforts in maintaining the confidentiality of such information, and (d) assist Company as reasonably necessary to enforce Company s rights and to enable Company to comply with any state or federal law requiring the provision of notice of any security breach with respect to any personally identifiable information of the affected or impacted data subjects.
  • In connection with your use of Company Services, you will not: Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or any illegal activity, or transmit, post, submit content, or distribute any message, information, data, text, software or images, or other materials that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, hateful, racist, discriminatory, of a menacing character, or likely to cause annoyance, inconvenience, embarrassment, anxiety, or could cause harassment to any person, or include any links to pornographic, indecent or sexually explicit material of any kind, or otherwise objectionable that may invade another s right of privacy or publicity as determined by Company s discretion; Impersonate any person or entity, including but not limited to, a Company official, forum leader, guide, or host, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity; Post or transmit any content that you do not have a right to reproduce, display, or transmit under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships; Post or transmit any content that contains a malware or corrupted data; Delete any author attributions, legal notices, or proprietary designations or labels; Use the Services communication features in a manner that adversely affects the availability of its resources to other users (e.g. excessive shouting, use of all caps, or flooding continuous posting of repetitive text); Post or transmit any unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of solicitation or any non-resume information such as opinions or notices, commercial or otherwise; Post any incomplete, false, or inaccurate r sum information or information which is not your own accurate r sum ; Respond to any employment opportunity on the Services for any reason other than to apply for the job. Communications soliciting the employer s business by our competitors are prohibited; Post to the Services any franchise, club membership , distributorship, or sales representative agency arrangement or other business opportunity which requires an up front or periodic payment, pays commissions only (no significant salary), or requires recruitment of other members, sub-distributors, or sub-agents; Delete or revise any material posted by any other person or entity; Print out or otherwise copy or use any personally identifiable information of other users. Unsolicited e-mails, telephone calls, mailings, or other contacts to posting individuals and companies are prohibited; Provide System passwords or other log-in information for the Services to any third party except those specifically authorized to access the Services; Access the Services in order to build, assist, or facilitate the assembly of a competitive product or service, to build a product using similar ideas, features, functions, or graphics of the System, or to copy any ideas, features, functions, or graphics of the Services; Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to discover or directly access the source code or any underlying ideas or algorithms of any portions of the Services or any underlying software or component thereof; Modify, create derivative works from, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, or sublicense the Services except as expressly permitted by this Agreement; Take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on any Company Services infrastructure or anything that interferes or disrupts the Services; Violate or attempt to violate the security of any Company Services including attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of a system or network or to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorization; Aggregate, copy, or duplicate in any manner any of the content or information available from any Company Services, including expired job postings, other than as permitted by these Terms; Post any resume or profile or apply for any job on behalf of another party; Solicit passwords or personally identifiable information from other users; or Post statements or material that constitutes anti-competitive collaboration and/or antitrust violations.
