Seeking a Systems Performance Lead to support Information Technologies (IT) initiatives in healthcare and federal grants arena. The initiatives include Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to enable organizations to operate and maintain enterprise systems in response to various legislative, policy, management, and technology changes. The outcomes enable the organization to strengthen its program management and operations in support of its mission to improve and achieve health equity.
Your future duties and responsibilities
The Systems Performance Lead develops, creates, and modifies applications for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Specific duties and responsibilities include:
Troubleshoot and optimize all aspects of applications by utilizing the data from Splunk, including Splunk search head, indexer clusters, index storage monitoring, and Splunk Processing Language (SPL) performance tuning.
Help manage upgrades, migrations, security, system health, and infrastructure analytics.
Develop Splunk dashboards and reports for strategic projects.
Work with other Splunk Administrators and Architects to support the Splunk environment.
Maintain and implement enterprise monitoring and alerting utilizing Splunk and organizationally defined best practices.
Assist in creation and maintenance of Splunk knowledge objectives for use throughout the organization.
Assist multi-vendor performance engineering and development teams to identify and troubleshoot performance issues.
Assist data analytics team to perform predictive analytics using Splunk Machine Learning Toolkits capacity planning, performance architecture design, performance tuning, and performance monitoring.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must demonstrate experience with alerting and monitoring, Splunk service decomposition, data onboarding techniques, and relation queries and dashboards.
Familiarity with Splunk add-on products such as Splunk ITSI, db-connect, Splunk Machine Learning Toolkit (MLTK), etc.
