North America Sales Coordinator

Product Specialist High End Brand of Retail and Contract Furnishings

This is a new role to support our growing sales organization. Seeking a dedicated team player that loves design and high end furniture. You will be the customer advocate and brand ambassador to support, and service the North America sales teams. This position requires full product knowledge as specialist, and understanding of the sales process for retail, e-commerce and contract wholesale customers. Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, personable, resourceful, a good problem solver and organized.

This position is located in our NYC main office, and liaison to customer service and logistics USA located in New Jersey, and parent company located in Denmark. The position reports to North America Director, based in NYC.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience selling and servicing customers in high-design commercial and residential furnishings
  • 4 year degree preferred
  • Proven expertise in support and servicing furniture sales
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills and has a can-do service attitude
  • Strong understanding of sales process and navigating sales/service opportunities and issues Comfortable and enthusiastic in leading presentations and training sessions
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize work load
  • Organized, a self-starter and a good planner
  • CRM experience and can execute sales forecasts and tracking
  • Marketing/Graphics past experience is helpful
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint)

The US office and Flagship store are located at 251 Park Avenue South NYC, with warehouse operations in Farmingdale, NJ and a Flagship store in California.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaison between sales reps/customer service and customer; go-to for customers when needed
  • Product and sales process expert
  • Field questions and answers on product to support sales efforts and customer requests
  • Manage field sales communications retail and contract
  • Assist with showroom visitors and presentations
  • Assist with sample packages when needed.
  • Help with sales training, event planning and presentations
  • Track sales opportunities and assist with forecasting
  • Assist with sales coordination for assigned key accounts
  • Pre-qualify and assist with new sales leads
  • Oversee day-day sales for B regions
  • Business development: Research new customers and help develop sales strategies for growing opportunities.
  • Assist with preparation and tracking of special order requests and warranty claims
  • Assist with tracking and overseeing of critical projects and orders
  • Help formulate project proposals and selling tools
  • Help coordinate furniture consignment sales samples when needed
