+ Legal Support to pending investigations and cases within the Opioid Unit in the Newark Office of the USAO.
+ The Law Clerks will perform complex legal research and writing for Assistant U.S. Attorneys (AUSAs) in support of the USAO's Opioid Unit, including preparation of draft legal documents, such as motions, briefs, memoranda of law, etc.
+ The Law Clerks will assist AUSAs with all phases of litigation, including reviewing, organizing, indexing, summarizing, and managing voluminous electronic discovery in complex litigation.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
+ Strong preference for applicants with prior clerkship experience
+ Prior experience in complex criminal litigation
+ Prior experience in a prosecutor's office and/or proficiency with litigation and eDiscovery software such as CaseMap, Trial Director, Relativity and IPro.
