Burberry is seeking a Merchandising Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing merchandising strategy for Women's Accessories across the Americas.
* Buying and analyzing merchandise at market and store level * Proposing results-orientated actions to achieve sales objectives * Maximizing operational efficiencies by partnering with allocation and regional teams * Communicating corporate strategies to store network * Interacting closely with London Merchandising team as an advocate for the needs of the American market * Participation in 4 buying sessions in London annually, including the buy, inputting orders and reviewing with central team * Working with Client Engagement to identify opportunities to grow client base while developing tools and incentives in store to drive business * Management of an Allocator and involved in conversations surrounding succession planning, training & development * Partner with Visual Merchandising and Supply Chain to maximize product allocation and presentation in stores
* Retail experience and mindset * Experience in an Accessories category with a great product knowledge * Passion for commerce/product * Demonstrates commercial instinct * Strong Analytical skills * Retail maths skills * Advanced skills in Excel
