Review, edit, and proofread technical data for publication projects. Consult engineering and technical staff and work with editors and illustrators to prepare a draft. Obtain and interpret necessary data through liaising with technical staff. Provide guidance and direction in the areas of format and style. Maintain and track document organization. Ensure adherence to specifications. Participate in client review of documents, as needed.
* Experience with developing documentation using Microsoft Word and Excel and Adobe products, including Adobe Pro and FrameMaker * Knowledge of technical documentation, including technical orders and publications and testing documentation * Ability to take notes and develop meeting minutes * Ability to work closely with technical SMEs and engineers to develop technical input on technical documents * BA degree in English, Journalism, or Technical Writing
* Ability to obtain a security clearance
