Responsibilities Prepare daily, weekly and monthly journal entries Preparation of daily cash reporting Prepare and analyze all balance sheet accounts Prepare bank reconciliations Record, classify and summarize financial transactions and events in accordance with IFRS Provide support for accurate and timely preparation of financial reports Analyze information and options by developing spreadsheets; verifying information for reporting Prepare payroll journal entry on a monthly basis Actual vs. budget analysis Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing related results as required Preparation of inter-company reconciliations Processing A/P for inter-company transactions Process employee expense reimbursements Support the controller on sales and use tax for every State and Canada Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance
Requirements/Skills and Abilities
Required: BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or related major 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience Experience with multi state sales and use tax; including Canadian VAT Knowledge of international exchange rates and handling of secured funds transactions MS Excel Power User Willingness to complete tasks across all accounting functions and support other accounting team members and/or projects, when necessary Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross functional teams Excellent time management skills; attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks successfully; and work well under pressure, with a sense of both urgency and thoroughness Strong analytical skills Professional, positive, and energetic attitude
Desired: PoC and Project accounting experience Experience in B1 (Business One- SAP) High degree of computer literacy, including use of various software tools; advanced User of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint Experience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous: Warehousing, Distribution or Bulk Material Handling
