Job Description Role Overview Selected candidate will be accountable and responsible for managing a large team that executes all QA (testing) functions for the Payments Technology Merchant team, as well as the testing strategy and approach for all impacted technology testing teams. Scope includes - Managing test planning, strategy and execution across multiple technology testing teams for a large program - Direct management of testing of device hardware testing and certification, payment processing software, onboarding and servicing software - Responsible for testing strategy and execution of all vendor developed software - Production certification - UAT LOB demos and testing - Individual will also be responsible for laying out Automation strategy and associated tools to support testing functions. Collaboration across peer organizations will be required to drive consistency in approach to testing. In addition to QATesting functions, individual will be responsible for -release support- function for Payments Technology. Responsibilities Capacityresource management (onshoreoffshore contractors and associates) Drive testing and automation strategy Test execution reviews Internal and external Audit support - Required Skills Familiarity with testing practices associated with merchant payment processing offerings Managed a large global delivery team of 50 or more (full timecontractors) Managed QA functions for customer facing platforms (Mobile andor desktop) and middleware software Preferably, experience should be with a financial institution or with a company providing retail services (Wal-Mart, Target, etc) Background in drivingbuilding a test automation framework Good understanding of Agile delivery methodology Certifications and preferred but not required A software development background at some point in the career will be a plus. - Enterprise Role Description Directs a Quality Assurance (QA) function within TO. Manages all aspects of the QA function for a line of business or technology area, including managing associates. Responsible for ensuring overall software quality is monitored and maintained. Senior QA Manager establishes QA standards and procedures for a line of business or technology area. These responsibilities extend to providing management oversight, and scheduling coordination for QA activities performed by the QA Team in support of systems and software projects for major lines of business. Has significant interaction with business area executives, vendors and operations executives in determining whether systems and system components, including hardware, networks, system software, tools, and applications are appropriate andor ready for implementation. Fosters stable support framework for development teams and business units in the area of quality assurance and the development of new or revised applications.
