We are seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to join the Finance Department. The candidate will be responsible for a wide range of duties that include processing various invoices, assist in month end closing, as well as clerical duties as assigned. The position is ideal for individuals that are detail oriented, have superior time management and prioritization skills, and have the desire to work in a fast-paced, high volume, retail environment.
* Accurate and timely processing of a high volume of invoices. * Manipulating various Excel spreadsheets for integration into accounting software. * Preparing accurate and complete month-end spreadsheets for accruals. * Analysis of transactions and vendor statements. * Calculating and accruing sales and use taxes, as appropriate, based on purchase and jurisdiction. * Supporting weekly payment processing. * Supporting other finance staff and managers during month-end P&L review processes. * Working with vendors to build and maintain strong relationships. * Various clerical duties and projects as needed. * Ability to learn multiple software systems.
Minimum Education and Experience
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of an Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance and/or 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience. Experience with high volume processing is strongly preferred. Candidates must be customer focused, have exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and intermediate command of Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills preferred.
