As a reflection of our current needs and planned growth we are very pleased to offer an opportunity to join our dedicated Human Resources team as a Director, Employee Relations The Director, Employee Relations will be responsible for building and sustaining positive, engaged work environments for team members throughout Aspen Practices, Scheduling Centers, and Corporate Support Centers. They will partner with HRBPs, Business leaders, and learning and development to develop and execute sound polices and best practices that mitigates/minimizes risk. This individual will lead the Manager Support Center (Employee Relations COE) and a small and mighty team of Employee Relations Specialists. They are a hands on leader not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get projects done and approach work with a data-driven, analytical mindset. They are able to translate data into a visual representation to help decision makers understand current state and key levers to target in order to improve the work environment. A successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic and changing environment. Responsibilities Collaboratively define and execute Employee Relations strategy and roadmap with key internal stakeholders Inspire, develop, and lead a highly skilled group of ER specialist Manage Employee Relations processes, including separations, severance/unemployment, and restructuring activities Establish alignment on ER process, such as separation and restricting process, where applicable Collaborate with decision makers, HRBPs, and legal on critical elements of compliance and investigation outcomes Create and manage Team Member Handbooks and related documentation to ensure all sites are following constant standards set forth for creating, editing, and publishing these documents Manage the Manager Support Center and provide coaching to front line leaders and practice owners Encourage the team to drive innovation helping solve business and team member problems Stay current (personally and through development of your team) with HR trends, employment law and diversity and inclusion landscapes Minimum Education and Experience Education Level: Bachelors degree required; Advance degree or other specialized training in labor/employment relations a significant plus 8-10 years of progressive experience in applied roles that include Employee Relations, HRBP, Diversity and Inclusion Successful record of creating, improving and executing programs at scale, ability to drive and measure effectiveness and high level of customer satisfaction Ability to develop or modify policy and procedures to drive positive work environments at all levels on the organization Strong team, interpersonal and persuasion skills, enabling individuals to establish influential partnerships working with peers, senior leader, and across organizational lines Experience identifying and resolving complex issues, assumes leadership roles in unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances Ability to handle confidential information and escalate issues when appropriate Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, flexible, and able to change direction quickly About Aspen Dental Management, Inc.
