We Are Hiring RN-Registered Nurse - Emergency Department 001 - Full-Time,Rotating - Every third weekend requirement. 12 hour shifts. North Vernon-301 Henry St. - North Vernon,IN Float RN between Emergency Department and Medsurg as well as helping with administrative duties, if time allows. Will not take a patient load unless there is a call in with core staffing. Every 3rd weekend requirement. Holidays are to be determined. 12-hour shifts, 12p-12a, 1p-1a or 2p-2a. Why Join Ascension? What You Will Do Float RN between Emergency Department and Med/surg as well as helping with administrative duties, if time allows. Will not take a patient load unless there is a call in with core staffing. As a Registered Nurse with St. Vincent Health-IN, you will have the opportunity to provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Responsibilities: Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. What You Will Need Licenses/Certifications/Registration: Required Credential(s): BLS Provider credentialed from the  American Heart Association (AHA)  obtained within  6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Registered Nurse credentialed from the  Indiana Board of Nursing  obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: Diploma  Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required Work Experience: 1 year of acute care experience is preferred.
