ArborCrowd is seeking an experienced Director of Real Estate Investor Relations with strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills and business acumen. The role requires a \"people person\" with a proactive and enthusiastic attitude. The candidate must be able to interface with ArborCrowd's investors and convey information in a manner that is both digestible and representative of ArborCrowd's institutional pedigree. To achieve this, the candidate must be capable of analyzing complex multifamily real estate transactions and ongoing performance of such investments. The Director of Investor Relations will work closely with ArborCrowd's underwriters and asset managers in order to be full immersed in the deals intricacies. The candidate is expected to become the primary investor contact for ArborCrowd.
The Director, Investor Relations will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:
* Maintain ongoing written and oral communication with current and potential investors on both new deals and assets under management. * Cultivate relationships with current and potential investors through various outreach efforts and attending industry events. * Work closely across functions to obtain and synthesize information from the deal, asset management, and accounting teams in order to be fully prepared to communicate with investors. * Present and market current and future ArborCrowd initiatives to maximize investor education and sourcing of capital. * Conduct ongoing industry, market and competitor research, and prepare regular internal updates to ArborCrowd stakeholders about your findings. * Draft written correspondence to investors including mass communications and customized meeting follow-ups. * Support the underwriters and asset managers when needed in document creation, due diligence and ongoing communication with ArborCrowd's investors and real estate sponsors. * Maintain prospective investor lists, tracking activities and follow-up as appropriate. * Maintain, update and post files to the investor data portal. * Work closely with marketing team to create lead generation campaigns and then convert leads into registrants and investors. * Work with marketing team to create presentations and coordinate logistics for investor meetings and industry conferences.

Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics or related filed. MS or MBA with focus on finance or real estate is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related investor relations experience in the commercial real estate industry with a focus on capital markets or business development. Private equity firm experience and/or knowledge of multifamily transactions are a plus.
