In this position, the Marketing Specialist will provide marketing and communications strategy and support to Arbellas owned Agency through the coordination of all branding initiatives, external communications, promotional products, marketing materials, and support to agency sales and service team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and coordinate agency branding initiatives and marketing plans, including communications materials such as newsletters, marketing and sales brochures, emails and direct mails for mass distribution; also formatting documents and following the department QC process prior to distribution/print.
  • Manage and run marketing campaigns to help drive new business and additional leads to sales and inside sales teams
  • Expand and enhance overall agency brand and brand awareness and assist with proactive campaigns that support current client retention.
  • Support the agency strategy to build and maintain meaningful corporate relationships/networks through materials, communication plans and additional resources.
  • Be the main point of contact for agency website, www.bearingstar.com, including managing changes, creating content, review and running reports, maintaining relationship with vendor including all SEO initiatives
  • Social Media management including weekly content review and approval, plus monthly strategy meetings and maintaining relationship with our social media partner vendor (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Create and distribute monthly client communication through newsletters, articles and additional informative content.Manage internal content library.
  • Assist with creating and delivering presentation forums and materials.
  • Manage inventory levels and distribution trends of all collateral and promotional items, maintaining proper inventory levels and working with the project manager to reprint/reorder if necessary.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training; 3 plus years of relevant work experience in an in-house marketing department.Insurance industry experience not required.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently to plan, set priorities and effectively organize work.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying time constraints.
  • Ability to build relationships and provide proactive support and guidance across the agency.
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability and flexibility to visit our multiple locations on occasion.
