Position Description:

Responsible for supporting the management of an energy management program for multiple client sites within boroughs of New York City.

Scope of Role
Manage multiple projects that will vary in size, scope and duration but in general meet client or project expectations within set budget and/or time expectations.

Job Description:

The Energy Manager shall be responsible for supporting comprehensive energy programs and projects for our existing Clients throughout the boroughs of New York City. The Energy Manager facilitates the identification, evaluation, development and implementation of energy management projects and initiatives. These critical initiatives help the programs exceed the overall energy reduction goals and objectives. The Energy Manager develops and maintains effective customer rapport, provides guidance and training to help others (internally to Aramark and externally to the client) efficiently operate the facility power plants, chiller plants, and HVAC Systems.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelors Degree in appropriate field with 4-8 years of experience in the identification and implementation of energy efficiency projects or programs is required.
  • Professional Engineer License, Certified Energy Manager designation.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of HVAC, Boilers, Chillers and Control Systems and experience with the implementation of environmental stewardship programs is preferred.
