Sell Side Equity Firm is looking for an experienced-hands-on Equity Algorithmic Program Trading Java Developer to help develop and build proprietary Equity Algorithmic models for institutional equity trading and execution optimization. The firm has been directing algorithmic equity executions through a suite of algorithmic models developed on the street. Responsibilities: The objective is to develop an internal proprietary equity execution platform. This person will work with a team to analyze existing equity trading programs and enhance, develop and build better state of art electronic execution models. The candidate will be expected to have an advanced degree in a quantitative science and have 3+ years of experience building algorithmic trading applications in C# .Net environment and superior knowledge of equity market structures. This is a position for a hard-core developer with a practitioners understanding of algorithmic execution models who can also implement their ideas in code. Client would like to see candidates from some of the larger bulge bracket firms who are looking for a unique opportunity to work on new software development projects that require you to work closely with sales and trading to build customized solutions for the firms clients.
