OverviewAmTrust North America Claims is looking for an experienced Manager of Advanced Analytics to build a team of advanced analyst and execute on the build out of complex models that can identify and target.AmTrust, a Fortune 500 company has seen significant growth since inception fueled by numerous acquisitions over the years. While the company's revenue has grown, the number of claims as well as complexity of claims has grown with it. This has created an opportunity for us to better leverage our scale and vast amounts of data to identify opportunities to operate more efficiently.This position will report to the AVP of Claims Strategy and FP&A and will support the Claims organization by providing data, analytics and reporting to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the Claims organization. The right candidate will bring a balance of Claims technical expertise, analytical abilities, creativity and execution to the table.Responsibilities* Recruit, lead and develop a team of 2 to 3 analysts* Partner with Actuarial, Finance and Underwriting to glean insights on trends and impacts on AmTrust's entire book of business* Lead the development of models such as staffing models and expense forecasting models* Collaborate with the Corporate Analytics organization to co-lead the development of predictive models that score potential fraud, potential subrogation opportunities or potential large loss identification* Identify, synthesize and recommend actionable analytical insights to drive improvement within Claims* Build out executive level presentations with actionable insights and recommendations* Coordinate, delegate and execute on ad-hoc analytical requests with your teamQualifications* Bachelor's Degree from a top university* 10+ years of Property and Casualty industry experience* 5+ years of experience working with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Cognos or Business Objects* 2+ years prior management experience required* Ability to read and write SQL requiredOther Information* Location: Southington, CT; New York, NY; Melville, NY; Jersey City, NJ; Boston, MA, Chicago, IL* Up to 25% travelWhat We Offer:AmTrust Financial Services offers a great work environment, competitive compensation package and excellent career advancement opportunities.
