Assists in the development of new and improved systems and procedures to increase efficiencies and minimize costs. Serves as back-up to Director/Controller as needed. Support most aspects of accounting management (billing, tax forms, reporting, etc.)Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official guidelines. Manage journal entries, invoices, and reconcile accounts for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.Assist and collaborates with departmental managers in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Participate in the preparation for the annual audit.Review and analyze financial reports and records to include in financial studies and various management reports.Prepare financial, statistical and variance reports.Maintains accounting and financial databases and dashboards (i.e. Qlikview)Monitors progress of special projects. Writes reports to management to communicate financial status of such.Reviews reports and other data to verify accuracy and appropriate allocations.Monitors and report project related financials details.
