The manager in this role will be part of the broader Global Services Group (GSG) Finance Organization, specifically supporting functions within the Global Servicing Network (GSN). The GSN LFO team provides decision support and financial analysis that helps shape the strategy, capabilities, and engagement that deliver world-class credit, collections and fraud services, and revenue growth for the company.Job Description:The role is an exciting position in GSG Finance, providing decision support for the Commercial Servicing Network (CSN) organization within GSN. CSN delivers world class servicing to AXP's small business and corporate card members worldwide. There is a large opportunity to build upon the analytics supporting this team and demands a candidate who is intellectually curious and has a strong focus on developing technical expertise and building relationships with both business and Finance partners across the Blue Box.Key responsibilities include - but are not limited to:* Develop processes and framework for highly visible and complex strategic initiativesDevelop analytics on key operational/performance metrics for CSNPartner with GSG DSCOE team to deliver month end results and R&Os to CSN business leadsAct as collaborator across key stakeholders to ensure consistent share of information and messagingLead and provide input for continued process improvement, streamlining of efforts, and automation ideas* Strong financial analysis skills including financial modeling, reporting, and problem solving* Self-starter with intellectual curiosity, initiative, and strong work ethic* Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization* Experience with SQL, SAS and/or Cornerstone/Hive preferred but not required* Ability to work with and develop an understanding of multiple and ambiguous data sources* High level of proficiency in Excel and Power Point* Bachelor's degree required (Business/Finance/Accounting)* 3-4 years of relevant Finance/Business work experienceEmployment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions.
