Amazon Advertising is positioned to grow its share of the online advertising industry due to its unique combination of online retail data, industry-leading cloud services, and a fast-moving startup culture. Our new team in Boulder, CO is looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager to work within our Advertising FinTech team focused on financial ledger, billing and reconciliation systems to support and drive the rapid expansion of Amazon s advertising business. This is a rare opportunity to define a technology vision and help shape the architectural direction of a key area for a fast growing business within Amazon.

The Role: You will lead high-impact, cross-team initiatives across Amazon Advertising. You will be involved in the entire product development lifecycle, be responsible for requirements, analysis, high level system design, interfacing with partner teams, reporting and managing prioritization while working closely with software engineers.

About you: You are a seasoned Technical Program Manager looking for a career where you are able to quickly grasp domain knowledge, influence system design, understand data flows and other technical aspects of systems. You enjoy learning and contributing to aspects about the business and have a product mindset to solving problems. You are an excellent communicator and have the ability to seamless work with technical and non-technical teams.

5+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a related industry
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
Experience managing efforts in Unix/Linux environments, distributed systems and/or developing large scale web applications
A first-hand working knowledge of current web technologies
Experience with business applications such as Word, Excel
Experience in FinTech and/or advertising
Experience with agile and program management methodologies
Masters degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical discipline
Successfully track record of delivering large scale technology programs
Sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills
Excellent communication standards
Experience building processes, project management, and release schedules
3+ years of coding experience in Java, C++, and Per
