Your role is to lead a Product Management team building an infrastructure that will result in a deep understanding of those customers and potential customers. You will operate at the intersection of marketing, engineering, and data/analytics and will be responsible for crafting the vision and strategy for data products and analytics platforms, powering an insights-driven organization.
Your team will partner with key business stakeholders to identify the greatest opportunities to retain our customers and grow their engagement. To address these opportunities, your team will partner closely with business partners, business intelligence analysts, and data engineers to envision and define a world-class ecosystem across the entire data value chain (data capture, data pipelines/ingestion, storage, and distribution/democratization).
Evangelizing a data-driven culture across Audible.
Defining a product vision and strategy for world-class data products.
Driving product requirements across the business to instrument data collection and ensure data quality, leading to critical customer-driven insights.
Partnering with leaders of the upstream data producing teams and downstream data consumers, to maximize productivity, alignment, and speed of execution.
Managing the team responsible for the product vision, roadmap, product scenarios, user stories, and backlog for data engineering teams.
8+ years experience in related positions with increasing responsibility.
BA/BS required, MBA Preferred.
Great communication skills - ability to think creatively and adapt the message to the audience. Can provide information to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike and guide them to confidently informed decisions.
Deep product background in data and analytics products.
Subject matter expertise in the data and analytics technology landscape.
A track record of delivering innovative products.
Enthusiastic data champion with strong leadership skills and the ability to influence across the organization at senior levels.
Growth mind-set with the ability to challenge partners in the organization to get the best outcomes - while maintaining great relationships.
Exceptional writing skills. Audible has a strong writing culture: PowerPoint use is rare.
