Alight Solutions Is Looking for a Financial Education Team Lead

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help drive results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Financial Services business group withinAlight Solutions in Puerto Rico.

Your Impact as AFinancial Education Team Lead

We are currently recruiting a bilingual (English and Spanish) Education Team Lead to be based in or around San Juan, Puerto Rico, with frequent travel to locations throughout the island. This role may be based out of the San Juan office, home-based or work from a client location.

The Education Team Lead is a client-facing role that will provide oversight and coaching for our Financial Education Consultants, keep the client informed of the progress of the onsite financial education team, facilitate successful program execution, and help ensure compliance with our regulatory requirements. The Education Team Lead will also handle day-to-day escalations as required. Activities the Team Lead will oversee include:

  • Enrollment meetings for Client employees
  • Group meetings
  • Ad hoc meetings
  • Individual employee financial education sessions
  • Additional responsibilities of the Education Team Lead include:

    Attend Client and Internal Meetings: The Education Team Lead will be responsible for regularly attending client and internal meetings regarding the development and status of the onsite program.

    Assist with Program Development: The Education Team Lead will collect feedback from oversight of Financial Education Consultants to help the Program Manager to further develop and enhance the onsite program.

    Develop Training Materials: The Education Team Lead will develop new bilingual retirement and financial planning education information as well as continuous improvements to existing workshops and material.

    Report monthly statistics: The Education Team Lead will provide Client and Alight Solutions with consolidated monthly reports of the sessions performed by the onsite financial education team.

    Travel - The Education Team Lead will be available to travel to Client locations as agreed upon by Client and Alight Solutions on an ongoing basis.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in delivering financial education workshops to individuals or employees.
  • Individuals with 3 to 5 years of experience in a financial or investments call center with excellent in-person presentation skills will be considered.
  • In addition, 1 to 3 years of experience managing a team of financial professionals.
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish speaking is required.
  • FINRA Series 7 (or 6) and Series 66 (or 65) are required.
  • FINRA Series 9/10 or Series 24 is preferred.
  • CRPC (Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor) or similar designation required (or willingness to obtain within six months of hire).
  • Strong employee retirement plan knowledge preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
