WHY IS THIS POSITION IMPORTANT?
We have an exciting opportunity for anexperienced QA Automation Engineer I within our eScreenBusiness Unit located in Richmond, VA.The eScreen Quality Assurance Automation Engineer I is a QA professionalwho contributes his/her expertise and practice of quality assurance along withmanual and automated testing to high performing Agile teams.The QA Automation Engineer I helps build andevolve an automation framework, along with helping others develop automationskills and knowledge. This role typically will have at least three (3) years oftesting experience utilizing recognized testing methodologies and practices,and two (2) years of experience providing automated testing solutions beyondrecord and playback.
This role is an individual contributor to bothquality control (testing) and quality assurance (process and prevention).A QA Automation Engineer I is also expectedto understand and exhibit the importance of adhering to regulations (i.e. SOX,FDA, HIPAA, PCI, etc.) and is responsible for contributing to regulatorycompliance.
As an important member of an Agile environment,the QA Automation Engineer I is expected to cultivate, grow, and maintain coreprincipals including, but not limited to, continuous improvement,self-organization, adaptive planning, and value driven development, usingmethodologies and frameworks such as LEAN, SCRUM, and KANBAN.Additionally, you will possess agrowth-mindset, be team-oriented, have strong interpersonal skills, and possessthe ability to deal with ambiguity; applicants must also demonstrate anaptitude for team communication and collaboration.

Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience is required
Typically,at least 3+ years of related work experience is required
Typically,3+ years of strong hands-on QA experience with webapplications, services and APIs preferably developed using SQL Server, WindowsServer, Visual Studio .NET, ASP.NET, HTML/CSS/JS, jQuery, React, Angular, C#.
Typically,2+ years of experience in database testing with the ability to read, write, andexecute complex SQL queries
Typically,2+ years of experience with automation testing using tools and frameworks likeNUnit, Katalon, UFT, or Selenium
Typically,2+ years of experience testing web services, web APIs, Databases,Authentication, web server configuration
Workingknowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applicationsincluding Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Typically,proficiency with web services, web sites, database, network connectivity andauthentication, SQL Server, configuration, and debugging
Demonstratedability to complete tasks and cooperate and collaborate in achieving teamobjectives
Demonstratedability to develop effective working relationships within a business setting
Experiencewith Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar source code and project managementsuite is preferred
Excellentcommunication skills, both oral and written, as well as organization anddocumentation skills
Certificationby an industry-recognized testing and quality assurance entity is a requirementfor this position. If a certification has not already been obtained, one mustbe obtained within three (3) years of starting the position.
Examplesof accepted certifications are: ISTQB:Certified Tester-Foundation Level or equivalent
