The position of Receipt Inspection Specialist is within our Infectious DiseaseDeveloped Markets business unit located at Scarborough, Maine. In this role you will perform work requiredto ensure incoming material quality is maintained at standards set forth by theCompany. The focused areas includeincoming inspection, testing, auditing, and documentation of materialspurchased.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Performsincoming testing for purchased materials.
  • Managesdiscrepant material process for materials not meeting performance criteria.
  • Maintainsall laboratory equipment.
  • Calibratesappropriate QC laboratory equipment according to schedule
  • Worksto ensure incoming materials are released on time and according to schedule.
  • AssistsSupervisor/Manager in troubleshooting and other projects as necessary.
  • Providessupport with technical and quality issues as needed.
  • Performsgauge R&R's and other inspection method qualifications as required.
  • Providesinput and assist in updating SOPs.
  • Maintainsarea compliance per FDA, ISO and OSHA requirements.

  • Qualifications

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:
  • Highschool diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • ASQ CertifiedInspector.
  • Two years experience in a regulated industry.
  • 1+ years experiencein Quality Control.
  • COMPETENCIES:
  • Abilityto use measurement equipment
  • Abilityto follow procedures and accurately document results
  • Knowledgeof gauging and metrology
  • Knowledgeand experience with inventory management systems
  • Knowledge ofInventory software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
