### Responsibilities
- Receives telephone calls and visitors. Answers the telephone and
refers callers or visitors to appropriate personnel based on
specific name or functional area request.
- Processes incoming mail. Picks up and delivers mail for the
office. Distributes to employees as instructed. Delivers other
correspondence to other offices as directed.
- Operates office machines such as office copying and FAX
- Performs routine, miscellaneous clerical work. Assembles copies
of correspondence as instructed. Obtains office supplies from
the supply room as directed.

### Qualifications
Applicant must possess the ability to perform the work of a Clerk at
the GS-0303-01 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal
Service. Your resume must support the response you select.
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will
be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills,
abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:**
1. Ability to learn general office administrative and clerical
procedures to distribute mail, use copier, and answer telephone.
2. Ability to learn organization and functions sufficient to receive
visitors, telephone calls, and distribute mail by specific
name/functional area.
3. Ability to follow step-by-step instructions to perform very
simple, routine, or repetitive tasks.
4. Ability to communicate effectively orally using tact and

appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify

Further, under paragraph (h) of the rule, agencies are required to
verify a qualifying separation from military service prior to
