POSITION SUMMARY The Talent Acquisition (TA) function at Agenus supports the company's ability to deliver on its corporate strategy based on innovation, value creation, and changing lives. TA enables this by attracting and hiring the right talent, through the right sourcing channels, into the right positions, at the right time, and at the right cost. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, in this newly created critical role, the Head of Talent Acquisition will manage all TA functions and partners, work with cross-functional Human Resources colleagues and functional groups to develop and translate the near and longer-term strategic Talent Acquisition roadmap into a set of supporting projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will be customer focused and have a strong bias for continuous process improvement, be a champion for Talent Acquisition process, system and tool innovation and a desire to build a world-class Talent Acquisition function. Additionally, we are looking for someone who is purpose-driven, authentic, curious, collaborative and excited be part of Agenus' journey to help patients live better lives. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND OUTCOMES * Lead the development and execution of the global roadmap for TA technologies, systems, tools, and process improvements including but not limited to website, company image, employee value propositions, etc. * Internally and externally, serve as a global and regional Talent Acquisition thought leader * Assume full responsibility for the recruitment of designated categories of talent. These categories will be defined based on experience. * Lead the development and continuous improvement of sourcing and recruiting reporting, metrics and analytics; develop and iterate on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual TA reports, dashboards and scorecards in partnership with HR Analytics colleagues * Manage Agenus' career pages and website as well as other employer/recruitment branding sites and tools in partnership with TM and Corporate Communications * Evaluate and implement opportunities to improve the applicant and candidate experience, including the application, background screen, interview/assessment, pre-boarding, and new hire orientation/on-boarding processes - building on Agenus' employer brand and it's ambition to be one of the most rewarding companies to work for. * Continuously review and implement improvements and best-in-class practices across the end-to-end TA process to streamline and simplify processes, increase efficiencies and continuously monitor quality. * Partner with global TA Leads and HR colleagues to launch and deliver on global TA programs - ensuring alignment with global TA and TM strategy, but being mindful of local, country and regional needs and norms. * Evaluate and champion emerging and innovative sourcing and recruiting technologies to improve TA effectiveness and candidate experience * Stay informed and respond to industry and recruiting trends and labor laws * Develop user guides and training support materials for TA processes, tools and systems * Ensure data integrity and compliance with ATS and other TA-related systems * Successfully deliver on TA-related projects and initiatives * Primary liaison with external TA system and technology vendors and partners, ensuring that all are performing and meeting critical KPI and that budgets are being utilized effectively * Process improvements to differentiate search, interview and selection steps based on function or level so as to enhance selection process outcomes Requirements EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS * Talent Acquisition, talent discovery and sourcing and/or TA program management experience in the biopharmaceutical or related industry that has an exceptionally high bar for talent and where the best talent is, passive and in high demand * Expertise building innovative and progressive world-class talent discovery and sourcing functions, with experience ranging from university relations/campus recruiting to executive sourcing and recruiting including commercial expansion * Strong Talent Acquisition technology expertise, both with existing and emerging technologies * Strategic thinker with strong business acumen; demonstrated track record of designing comprehensive talent attraction and sourcing strategies that align with near and longer-term business goals and strategic priorities * Strong understanding of digital and social media channels and experience designing and implementing employer and recruitment brand campaigns globally * In depth understanding of the end-to-end sourcing and recruiting process and lifecycle * Experience establishing and iterating on comprehensive and insightful TA metrics to track sourcing and recruiting effectiveness and inform and influence business decisions * Exceptional communication, presentation, relationship building, and influencing skills with colleagues across all levels * Customer focused and continuous improvement mindset * Experience managing relationships with external vendors and partners * Hands-on experience in executive recruitment and/or commercial recruitment EDUCATION * Masters / Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Job Information * Location: Lexington, Massachusetts, United States * Job ID: 46878899 * Posted: February 19, 2019 * Position Title: Global Head of Talent Acquisition * Company Name: Agenus * Job Function: Human Resources * Entry Level: No Jobs You May Like Scientist, Raw Materials, Analytical CMC Translate Bio Lexington, United States Director, Analytical Development CMC Translate Bio Lexington, United States RNA Analytical Scientist Translate Bio Lexington, United States Research Associate, Analytical Development CMC Translate Bio Lexington, United StatesWe are a dedicated group of scientists, physicians, and businesspeople working together toward one goal: to discover and develop therapies that can unleash the power of the body's immune system to treat and potentially cure cancer.
