Adecco is partnering with the largest commercial distributor of doors and hardware in Upstate New York. Our client is hiring a 1st Shift Operations Manager. This is a Direct Hire career opportunity located in Syracuse, New York. As the Operations Manager, you will have the responsibility of supervising 10-15 Warehouse employees, Fabricators and Installers. The Operations Manager will report directly to the General Manager. The Operations Manager will be paid a salary, plus bonus, paid time off and benefits. Job Essentials:

Responsible for the overall Warehouse Operations and staff for large Manufacturing plant
Provide coaching/support to all departments - Shipping/Receiving, Fabrication, Installation
Maintain safe and healthy work environment
Stage materials for customer purchases and deliveries
Oversee production, productivity, quality, inventory
Provide outstanding Customer Service to Clients
Supply Fabricators with material
The Operations Manager will work closely with team on the Manufacturing floor

Job Requirements:

Associates Degree or Technical Training in Logistics, Operations or related field
Minimum 5 years of Supervisory experience in Manufacturing/Commercial Distribution
Experience working with Windows based ERP Systems and MS Office Suite
Experience in Fabricating a plus
Experience in building product related industry a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong attention to detail
Experience staging materials, operating a Forklift and/or Hand Truck
Experience with Inventory Control
Experience working closely with PM's, Sales, Customers, Shipping/Receiving, Fabricators and Installers
Positive, flexible, disciplined
