Job Summary

Officiates at games according to league rules and YMCA guidelines.

General shifts for the Adult Baskteball League are Wednesdays from 5:15pm-8:45pm.

Responsibilities Officiates at games. Puts all equipment away after games. Reports equipment problems. Attends staff meetings and required trainings. May set up playing area. May record wins and losses. Qualifications Current state approved first aid certification preferred.* Current state approved CPR certification preferred.* Up-to-date knowledge of YMCA guidelines designated for the league. Experience in refereeing preferred. Knowledge of safety issues related to sport and facility. Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations. Prefer knowledge of, and pervious experience with, diverse populations (language, culture, race, physical ability, sexual orientation etc.). Ability to speak any language in addition to English may be helpful.
