The classification of Supervisor Ramp Services includes managing, coordinating and controlling airport ramp functions (as described below); monitors the quantity and quality of work performance; directing personnel within assigned functional area; overseeing and advising on staffing requirements; participating in the discipline, coaching, counseling, hiring and termination of subordinates; training subordinates, ensures compliance with Company rules and regulations, union contracts (if applicable), Company standards and contractual agreements; ensures budgetary controls and manning requirements. This position may include responsibility for communication between individual customers and the Company. Proactively monitors the work of assigned employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality and employee relations meet or exceed standards. Ensures they administer practices in a fair and equitable manner, where all employees, customers, vendors and other third parties are treated with respect. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals, and have ability to write routine reports and
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and have ability to compute rate, percent and
interpret bar graphs.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to lift 70 lbs

Cognitive skills to set priorities and use independent judgment, have the ability to handle
Stress, and work with minimal supervision.
Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off.
