$14.18/Hr to $16.18/Hr, together with benefits package.
The position of Treatment Specialist 1 will report to a Director of Specialized Offender Services and will be trained to become a vital part of their team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the overall treatment components of the corrections programs through delivering approved treatment curriculum, conducting staff training, supporting data collection efforts, and assuring quality of program delivery.
The successful applicant will have a Bachelor's degree and be certified in approved treatment curriculum, a thorough working knowledge of social learning theory, cognitive-behavioral intervention and approaches, assessment and evaluation and demonstrated competencies in training, group interaction, and mentoring. They must possess effective communication skills and ability to interact appropriately with clients, and must be able to work flexible hours. Valid driver's license and able to meet Volunteers of America driver standards
