Ortho Dermatologics is one of the largest prescription dermatology companies in the world dedicated to helping patients in the treatment of a range of therapeutic areas including psoriasis, actinic keratosis, acne, atopic dermatitis, cold sores, athletes foot, nail fungus and other dermatoses. The Ortho Dermatologics portfolio includes several leading acne, anti-fungal, anti-infective and psoriasis products.

The Director, Dermatology Marketing will lead execution of the US strategic business direction for SILIQ. Strong professional marketing experience is required. Launch and biologic product experience is preferred. Responsibilities include strategic planning and execution of professional and consumer marketing campaigns via personal and non-personal promotion, co-developing training materials with Sales Training, managing the budget, and participating in annual brand planning. The Director will partner closely with the sales force and other cross functional teams to gain alignment and effectively execute brand strategy to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake category, brand and competitive assessment to optimize brand strategy and execution
  • Assess and prioritize key brand initiatives in an environment of rapid change
  • Partner with cross functional teams to develop, align on and execute brand strategy
  • Develop and successfully execute personal and non-personal tactics supporting brand strategy
  • Effectively partner with sales force to execute key initiatives
  • Qualifications

  • BA/BS in relevant discipline required; MBA strongly preferred
  • 4-6 years of proven experience in US pharma marketing; dermatology or immunology experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal/team building skills with ability to motivate cross functional teams
  • Excellent communication skills including ability to present to Sr. Management as well as sales force
  • Ability to think strategically and execute effectively, plan proactively vs. reactively
