The WHNP in the specialty practice of Gynecologic Oncology will work collaboratively with the physicians in a team approach to enhance patient care that enables the practice to streamline new patient visits, improve patient access and provide a high level of coordinated, efficient and quality care to our surgical and chemotherapy patients.
This individual will work closely with the chemotherapy infusion suite to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
All WHNP's function under the guidelines as designed by the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center medical staff guidelines and are credentialed through that body.
The WHNP hired by the Clinical Practices of the University of Pennsylvania will be held accountable through a formal job description, through the delineation of privileges, and through their agreement with their collaborating physician who has initiated a Collaborative Practice Agreement.
All clinical work hours and associated requirements will be defined and managed under the direction of the collaborating physician/division designee, and within the Human Resource guidelines.
