The VAD Lead Coordinator RN: Leads the Coordination of patient care in the Mechanical Circulatory Assist Device Program with emphasis on the PPMC location. The position is involved in the coordination and care management of heart failure patients with ventricular assist devices (VAD) in the acute inpatient and outpatient chronic settings as a member of the multidisciplinary team. The role in addition requires device management, educating, consulting, participating in research and meeting requirement for regulatory. Caring for this complex patient population requires caring for patients 24/7 and includes on call responsibilities.
