The LPN will be responsible for triaging patients, obtaining vital signs, reconciling medications, reviewing medical history, completing a review of systems, placing x-ray orders 2-3 days before office hours, maintaining competencies (casting, suture/staple removal, wound care, etc), and maintaining regulatory standards. This position will occasionally float throughout the various orthopedic divisions and should be comfortable with trauma, hand, foot and ankle, joints, non-op, etc. The majority of time will be spent in the hand and the foot and ankle clinics.
