Description:

The Interlogix Regional Sales Manager role is responsible for managing relationships with all top revenue producing customers and developing total product sales growth for our dealer and distribution channel. This position is an outside, home-office sales position with a minimum of 80% travel expected annually. The individual will be responsible for the Washington, Alaska, N. Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota territories.

Responsibilities:

* Full ownership and accountability for all relationships (dealers, distributors, consultants and end-users), channel management and sales activities within assigned territory
* Deliver on financial objectives
* Create and implement strategic sales plans that successfully achieve business objectives
* Develop key sales competencies as required to leverage success, including but not limited to prospecting, lead generation, influencing, business acumen and business judgement
* Participate in clear communication with Regional Sales Leader
* Maintain an extensive knowledge of customers, opportunities, markets and competition
* Build and maintain aggressive account growth plans for top customers in assigned geography and execute on those plans
* Enable connections with proper internal resources so as to provide customers with value and ease of doing business
* Provide value to customers through growth and support initiatives including product demonstrations, attendance at regional trade shows and product road shows
* Provide productive, strategic and market feedback to the business
* Manage and execute on market strategic initiatives and programs

Educational requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent with 7+ years of experience
* BA/BS degree with 5 to 7 years' experience
* MA/MS degree with 2 to 5 years' experience

Qualifications:

* 5-10 years of security intrusion, video and access control industry sales experience
* Live in Seattle, Washington or surrounding area
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective clients
* Work well with cross-functional team members across the organization
* Demonstrated sales skills including prospecting, negotiating, influencing and selling
* Ability to interface and influence at all levels within the organization
* Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
* Strong attention to detail
* Proactive and high energy, strong customer focus and responsiveness, adaptable
* Technically competent to lead product demonstrations
* Self-managed and goal oriented
