Job Description The Manager, Field Technology Operations is responsible for supporting the North America (NA) Veeva sales force automation environments for all field based customers in the areas of business requirement definition, technical system configuration, data integration with internal systems and warehouses, data quality management, call planning, alignments targeting, software version releases, cxvcxv digital asset management, documentation, user manuals/guides, communications, training and tier 2 help desk support. This role partners directly with sales and marketing, IT and Vendor partners on defining the configuration and data strategy for Veeva CRM environments. The role is also responsible for support of all iPad/Laptop field technology related systems, tools and applications in partnership with the Sales Operations, Sales Training, IT and iMCM teams. Partner with business and IT partners to define Veeva CRM business requirements and technical system configuration. Provide technical configuration and administration support for NA Veeva CRM environments. Administer the NA Veeva CRM environments to manage user Profiles, Call Plans, Account Targets, Campaigns, Digital Assets, Surveys and overall system maintenance. Manage backend Veeva CRM processes including data management/data loads, alignments, account assignment, archiving and profile status updates. Manage the Veeva CRM Account Maintenance portal that provides integration with customer master and commercial data warehouses for maintenance of Veeva accounts, addresses and status requests. Provide technical support for Veeva CRM environments including, Test, Training and Production databases, environment updates/patches and version releases. Provide Veeva CRM tier 2 help desk support. Responsible for Veeva CRM reference materials including user manuals, quick reference guides, FAQs and communications. Responsible for Veeva CRM and technology based training across all field based users in classroom and e-learning settings to ensure consistent new hire, refresher and advanced training skills. Responsible for support of all iPad/Laptop field technology related systems, tools and applications in partnership with the Sales Operations, Sales Training, IT and iMCM teams. Participation in industry seminars and technology trainings to ensure an efficient and impactful CRM solution. Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Business or Information Systems, MBA preferred Minimum 8 years pharmaceutical experience Minimum 4 years Veeva CRM experience Professional Veeva Administration Certification Expertise in Microsoft Office - Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio Technical HTML, SQL and Javascript programming skills Demonstrated skills in communicating (oral and written) effectively with diverse individuals/groups in order to facilitate trust and understanding in business and vendor relationships Ability to read, analyze and interpret business requirements and turn into functional capabilities Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Demonstrated knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry, cGMP, PDMA and Governmental regulations Travel expectations: 25% for first year, 10% thereafter.Salary Range: NAMinimum Qualification8 - 10 years
