The position is responsible for developing, planning and delivering Human Resources programs and services for Teva s North America Operations organization. Incumbent reports to the Senior Vice President, HRBP Global Operations and supports the Senior Vice President, TGO Americas, participating fully on the leadership teams, helping to lead change management initiatives and overseeing all people management related issues in the areas of talent management, talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, and organizational design and development. Responsibilities include direct line management of TGO site-based HR teams representing 4075 employees across 30 sites.
Essential Areas of Responsibility Develop and implement an integrated people strategy for the business unit including organizational design, leadership and talent development, succession planning, employee engagement, development and retention. Anticipate the future needs of the organization and areas of potential disruption. Build and maintain progressive human resources practices possessing the business insight necessary to influence the company s performance and business objectives. Partner with stakeholders to establish a tone for performance and continuous improvement within the Business Unit. Ensures HR programs are aligned to leverage diversity, motivate employee engagement and reward performance. Coach and provide advice to leaders and employees regarding strategic and complex organizational and employee issues while providing proactive and pragmatic solutions. Partner with Teva global and regional HR Management, COE and Shared Service Center teams to provide high value to key initiatives.
Qualifications Minimum of 15 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a large, complex, matrixed, and fast-changing global business. Bachelor s degree required; Advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in all areas of HR with a strong focus on employee engagement, talent management, organizational effectiveness, recruitment and organizational development. Working knowledge of compensation and benefits. Strong project management skills. Experience supervising geographically dispersed HR teams. Proven HR leadership in developing new efficient and effective business processes and implementation.

Superior communication skills, both written and verbal. Solid business, analytical and process-oriented approach to HR that positions human capital solutions in business terms. Outstanding client service orientation. Strategic thinker who is also accustomed to working in a hands-on manner to accomplish multiple priorities. Effectively coaches leaders on performance, effective management practices and other business issues. Mentors and motivates others to reach their optimum performance. Outstanding business acumen with analytical/metrics capabilities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships as well as influence employees at all levels. Team player with strong conflict management and negotiation skills. Direct, confident and assertive style with a comfort level in speaking up and challenging the views of others while simultaneously serving as a collaborative partner Must be able to travel up to 40%
