The Center for Professional Development in Career and Technical Education (CTE) in the College of Education is a grant-funded program charged with delivering field-based teacher education programming in a specialized setting. The full-time Field Resource Associate (FRA) is a grant-funded position within the CTE Center at the College of Education and this employee is required feedback from interns, school administrators and supervisors, Field Liaisons and RRPs. The Office FRA is required to provide services to interns in field-based and competency-based training during the semester. Included in these services are travel to and from the schools being served, time preparing for visits, time in visitation and classroom observation and debriefing with interns, time reviewing students work, grading assignments and completing documentation and attending regularly scheduled group meetings. Additionally, the Office FRA will coordinate informational sessions in collaboration with CTCs in various regions that serve our Intern CTE teachers

The quality of the services provided to interns will be reflected in the intern's progress toward certification. The incumbent will also perform other duties associated with interns' on-boarding process and will interface routinely with Regional Resource Personnel (RRP), lead teachers and instructional coaches to discuss and troubleshoot issues pertaining to interns progress. This position will report directly to the Director of Curriculum and Vocational Certification and will perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years of directly related experience. Must be a permanently certified teacher. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:

* Proven track record of high level customer service and organizational skills
* Ability to travel using personal vehicle to various geographic locations across the state
* Proven track record of working in educational environments
* Ability to be detailed oriented and provide accurate and timely information
* Ability to provide tailored instructional coaching and support to new CTE teachers
* Ability to seek input and troubleshoot information
* Ability to work with diverse stakeholders
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and in writing)
* Demonstrated proficiency in using online systems and working with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Ability to be flexible and adaptable
* Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple responsibilities
* Ability to respond to requests from Center, College, in a timely manner

Preferred:

* Education or vocational workforce related field

This is a grant funded position.
