Summary: The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for developing marketing strategies and activities that support Teachstones strategic business and revenue objectives.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for annual marketing plan, strategy, and budget.

Work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer to develop sales enablement materials and activities to support the sales organization to meet its objectives.

Develop and implement cohesive branding and messaging strategy that increases awareness of CLASS and the linkage between CLASS assessment and professional development.

Partner with product management to develop product positioning around key benefits, launch plans and marketing support.

Develop marketing campaign strategies for key markets including Head Start, State Funded Early Childhood education programs and K-12 markets.

Lead the conference strategy team in developing conference strategies and attendance parameters, as well as key conference and organizational sponsorship decisions.

Strategic website development to ensure consistent user experience and usability.

Develop lead generation campaigns and monitor for effectiveness.

Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.

Set specific marketing objectives and report on ROI and KPIs.

Manage a team of marketing professionals.

Required Qualifications:
3-5 years in ed tech marketing experience, preferably in the early childhood education market.

Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns.

Considerable experience developing new brand positioning and messaging.

Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques.

Experience managing online marketing channels.

Ability to move in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Strong leadership skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Location Requirement: Charlottesville, VA, no remote employee considered

Travel: Up to 20%
