Engagement Manager, to lead multiple, parallel consulting engagements leveraging medical claims and Rx data to address Pharma marketing client needs. Given the growing state of the company, the role will encompass both external, client-facing responsibilities as well as internal coordination responsibilities. Conceptually, this role will be bridge between sales and deliverytranslating sold engagements to the operations team for execution, managing ongoing project delivery and evolving client expectations, maintaining proactive and consistent communication across client and delivery teams, supporting the sales force via strategic ideation on qualified opportunities, as well as translation into sales support specifications and subsequent development of delivery-related presentations. Therefore, a seasoned understanding of the evolving pharmaceutical market (precision medicine, value based re-imbursement, patient level data integration, etc.) and client-facing communication skills/language coupled with sound technical capabilities/competency is critical to success.
Roles and Responsibilities
Design and develop strategies, methodologies, and project plans for leveraging medical claims data to deliver against Pharma marketing client needs
Facilitate and manage all project communication needs, including client-facing communications, and internal communications
Prepare and lead client meetings and workshops, including self-guided research, preparation of meeting materials, meeting delivery, and follow-ups
Efficiency and frequency self-educate to become subject matter expert in new project subject areas
Work to develop highest quality client deliverables in a matrix environment
Manage a portfolio of client engagements
Travel requirement 20%
Business or Data-focused Masters degree or higher (MBA, Masters of Data Science, or similar)
5+ years working in a professional environment dealing with healthcare claims, healthcare/life sciences analytical consulting, commercial operations
Proven track record of increasing responsibilities in the area of client engagement and client communications
Competency in leading discussions with large groups, and driving consensus across different stakeholders
Good understanding of medical claims data and codes, and applicability to Pharma marketing challenges
High level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with superior organizational logistics, and time management skills.Highly competency with Excel ability to manage large data sets by e.g. sorting, pivoting, and interrogating using logic and text functions
