What Are We Looking For?

Spring EQ is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our growing team. This position will report directly to the Director of Compliance, and will play a vital role in the licensing process for both our state applications, as well as the applications for our loan originators. The Compliance Specialist will work actively to ensure license applications, transfers, renewals and record keeping is completed and maintained.

Position Responsibilities-

* Licensing The Compliance Specialist will process and track the status of licensing for individual loan originators and the company.
* S/he will coordinate and track continuing education and prelicensure education for individual loan officers and qualifying individuals.
* S/he will assist in the completion of state and regulatory examination.
* Compliance The Compliance Specialist will test a monthly sample of loans for compliance to federal and state laws and regulations.
* S/he will assist in coordinating, communicating and implementing regulatory changes.
* S/he will provide support by researching and responding to regulatory questions related to mortgage lending compliance.
* S/he will assist in developing new lending products and policy and procedures to ensure compliance.

* Reporting The Compliance Specialist will manage timely completion and submission of quarterly and annual government reporting.
* Additional ad-hoc duties as assigned

* Bachelors Degree Required
* 2+ years of experience in mortgage lending
* Strong Excel and Word skills
