In doing so we hire the best healthcare professionals in the Preston, WA a rea to provide optimal patient care. Prospective SLP will be responsible to promote and maintain health to our students, within the scope of practice and following the Code of Ethics of the profession. SLP is required to develop and administer speech therapy programs and treatments for school age groups defined by clinical competency, which includes pediatric and adolescent populations.
Master s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or ASHA clinical fellow
Previous experience working in a school environment is preferred
Requires good organizational and time management skills
Other certifications preferred but not required , such as Child language and language disorders, Fluency and fluency disorders, Swallowing and swallowing disorders, and Intraoperative monitoring.
Experience working with K-12 ages/students preferred but not required
Valid WA State Licensure/State Credentials
Passing Drug Screen Testing/Background Check
Primary Job Responsibilities
SLP-CFY or CCC s needed
Full time 8 hours x 5 days per week
Caseload: Working with Early Childhood Education students
Start date: Early April 2019
SLP must have current WA credentials and current fingerprinting with OSPI
