Unit Description


Sodexo Corporate Services?is seeking a talented Executive Chef 1 at Selective Insurance Headquarters?located in Branchville, NJ. This Executive Chef will be responsible leading our upscale caf? stations & daily catering culinary operations. This position will supervise 10 Sodexo frontline (hourly) employees and report into a General Manager.?

We are looking for candidates who will:



  • creativity for menu development

  • manage the daily food production including production planning and control

  • manage food costing, controls and compliance

  • develop menus and manage inventory

  • have high expectations for customer service and quality of food

  • have the ability and willingness to develop and train frontline employees

  • have a passion for food and innovation


This Executive Chef will work primarily a Monday through Friday, 6AM-4PM shift


with some evening shifts. No holiday or weekends.

Position Summary


Provides culinary leadership within a small sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training.? Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through executionKey Duties-Executes the culinary function-Customer & Client satisfaction-Manages food & physical safety program.

Qualifications & Requirements


Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree Basic Management Experience - 2 years Basic Functional Experience ? 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
