The Renewal Specialist will focus on Maintenance Renewals for Strategic Accounts by effectively managing timelines, co-term opportunities, and pricing negotiations. The Specialist will work closely with various inside and outside sales teams based upon the customer(s) that require support. This position will report to the SHI HQ 290 Somerset, NJ location.
Include but not limited to: Lead renewal cycles within specific named accounts Manage a pipeline of current and upcoming renewals Ownership of renewal process and timeline Collaborate with sales team on requirements, renewal strategy and customer specific processes Drive increased renewal rates for our group and SHI Interface and communicate with application owners and end-users to qualify renewal requirements Interface with Procurement teams within your named account customer base Giving presentations, running reports, and providing regular status meetings Process maintenance renewal quotes on a daily basis Proactively manage and prioritize the monthly and quarterly renewal activities Transact with client/vendor specific database and financial systems Verify the data integrity of all quotes, purchase orders, and invoices Interpret raw data sets and conduct data analysis/audits Interact and proactively communicate with internal teams to fulfill the maintenance quotes Communicate with multiple vendors on a weekly basis Participate in weekly customer and sales team status calls Track and report on renewal activities Provide feedback to further define internal processes Travel as required by the position
Qualifications/Minimum Skills Required
Qualifications: Experience in the maintenance renewal process 2 years in an Inside Sales/Outside sales/or partner/vendor support role Bachelor's degree Required Skills: Highly organized and strong interpersonal/communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and in a cross functional team environment Must be flexible and adaptable - Ability to wear multiple hats and multi-task Positive attitude and strong work ethic Strong problem solving skills while being focused on customer satisfaction Strong negotiation and motivational skills Preferred Skills: Experience managing and renewing Enterprise Agreements Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote a plus Associated topics: business development, business development, business service, cloud, cloud sales, cloud solution, cloud technology solution, isv solution, sentext solution, software solution
