Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, innovative and detailed Hardware Engineering Intern specializing in RTL/FPGA digital design. Participates in preparation of system level product specifications. Assists in the generation of hardware specifications of moderate complexity.2. FPGA design, simulation, and verification with VHDL.3. Analyzes, designs, and develops mixed signal circuits to meet specifications. Demonstrates and documents product and circuit robustness using computer simulations, conventional analysis and standard testing methodologies. Ensures that designs meet applicable regulatory requirements.4. Designs, implements and documents programmable logic designs required for hardware product development.5. Leads projects of moderate technical complexity. Participates in the executive project review processes.6. Writes and reviews test plans, conducts or supervises design testing, evaluates and reviews test results.6. Prepares and maintains product documentation, including data sheets, instruction manuals, and design and test documentation.7. Participates in industry technical meetings, seminars and conferences.8.
