Description SAIC has a contingent opportunity for a Senior Network Manager to support a US Army Cyber Command. This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located in Germany. Serves as the Senior Network Manager (Technical) for the US Army Regional Cyber Center - Europe at Clay Kaserne, Wiesbaden, Germany. Monitors, controls, and isolates problems in a data communications network. Monitors all network activity. Activatesdeactivates network lines according to established schedules. Performs first- andor second-level problem determination (first level is help desk). Interfaces with users andor network vendors. Responsible providing technical support for LANWAN or for a section of a larger network. May perform installation, modification and testing of network. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor of ScienceArts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Science or Business Administration or Mathematics plus 3 years of specialized experience, or an associate's degree plus 7 years of specialized experience, or a major certification plus 7 years of specialized experience, or 11 years of specialized experience. Specialized Certification Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist. Specialized Experience The following experience may be concurrent Four (4) years experience maintaining and developing TCPIP networks (on Ethernet, ATMSONET andor wide area transports) three (3) years must be in direct experience with U.S. military command and control or commercial LANWAN communication systems. Special Requirements DoD 8570.01-M, IA workforce certification IAT-III.
